Discover who you are
So you want to be the best you possible? Good for you! It begins with self exploration. This is when you discover who you are, what makes you happy and what drives your choices. Never taking the time or creating the space to explore the world lessens the experiences we have. Life requires us to take certain actions in order to provide ourselves. We must work in order to afford to build the life we need. However once that’s complete, try new things with the intent of discovering joy in a new hobby. Challenge yourself to experiment with a new skillset to uncover a hidden talent or gift. Volunteer to activate the purpose in your life. Without these momements how are you expecting to have the experiences that will help define and mold who you are destined to be?
Live confidently as you
Now that you have given yourself premission to discover who you are, its time to live within it! You are wonderfully and fearfully made! You are authentic and unique. A true one of a kind! Why deny the world the opportunity to see someone as rare as you? You should live confidently as your individual self. Do not concern yourself with the world or their opinions. Truth be told, the people you may be concerned with wish they could do what you are doing!
Amplify your strengths
You have strengths, talents and natural gifts that you have recently unhidden. Its time to allows those skills to shine. No more are the days of you shrinking yourself or your skillsets to make other comfortable. Show how capable you are. Stand proudly in the fact that you know you are the best at what you have to offer. Become confident in sharing your strengths. Are you great at public speaking, tell people and be open to taking those opportunities as they come. Do you have a great amount of patience and understanding? It may be time to use those gifts to work with the youth in your community. You are going to change the world with your new find strengths!
Acknowledge your weakness
Being great at everything is nearly impossible. Unless you are an undercover super hero, we are all human.Work on being comfortable with saying you can’t do something. Who said you have to do it all? People respect and honesty. You being transparent about where you fall short will allow you to let that responsibility go and redirect on your energy on what you are amazing at. What’s the old saying…jack of all trade , yet master of none. We want to be our best. By letting go of what you are not the greatest at will actually allow the space for someone who is great at that skill or talent to shine. Don’t be continue to spread yourself thin by trying to do it all.
Ask for grace
When you have identified all that is great and not so great about yourself, it is ok to let go of your pride and ask for grace. Knowing that you are doing the best you can and speaking life into the fact that you are getting better by the day brings attention to the fact that you are not done yet. Asking those you encounter for grace while you grow and perfect what makes you you is neccesary
